Shippings of projects of Break Bulk
The vessels “RORO” are ships specially designed to handle long and wheeled cargo, such as cars, trucks, construction heavy equipment and bulky items. BGI manages a variety of bulk break using methods RORO and LOLO; otherwise, it would take longer and would not be cost-effective to separate those cargoes to ship them and put them back together again when they arrive to their destination.
The vessels RORO have ramps that permit easier loadings of the cargo when these ships are at the port. This ships stop at the loading docks and use the ramps allowing the cargos to be rolled. This method is usually safer and less expensive to handle break bulk or a special project.
